
Family Connection and the Southeastern Network of Youth and Family Services will sponsor an anti-human trafficking community awareness training seminar today and Friday. The free event will include discussions of sex trafficking of minors, the use of the Internet in juvenile prostitution, and an examination of human trafficking in the Birmingham area. Today's event will be from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Family Connection at 2 Walker Run in Alabaster. Friday's seminar will be from 9 a.m. until noon at Project HOPE House at 1321 7th Ave. North in Birmingham.
