The agency opened as a group home for at-risk children and youth

1982

A School Counseling Program begins due to the increased need in area schools

1986

Agency purchased 22-acres of land and built an 18 bed facility to house residential services and the administrative offices

1992

Project HOPE Day Shelter and Street Outreach Services began in downtown Birmingham

2004

Community Counseling Center was completed and now houses the administrative offices
