Describe Family Connection in 30 seconds

What does Project Safe Place, the Shelby County Drug Free Coalition, Therapeutic Outreach Prevention in Schools (TOPS), Group Home and Emergency Shelter for Youth, Homeless Prevention and Rapid Re-Housing, and Project HOPE: Services for Runaway and Homeless Street Youth all have in common? These are all programs of Family Connection.  
For years, my dilemma has been….how can I explain the services offered by Family Connection in 30 seconds or less and how can I eliminate the confusion surrounding the services we offer.  I have reached the conclusion that I can’t or at least I can’t do it by myself. I am happy to report that I am receiving assistance from the University of Alabama’s Business College.  Five outstanding graduate students will be developing a marketing program that will help create a stronger identity for the services we provide and it will help reduce confusion as to the role of Family Connection. I look forward to working with these terrific young people. I always say…two heads are better than one and in this case five heads are definitely better than one.
